Meeting Information

Board of Director and Committee meetings are where the NFBWA makes decisions that impact our community with a core mission as our guide. Our mission is to:

  • Provide a plentiful supply of clean water from multiple sources for our families now and in the future.
  • Conserve our groundwater and surface water supplies to provide for tomorrow’s water needs.
  • Educate people on the value of water, where our water comes from, and the importance of protecting this vital resource.

Board of Director meetings are scheduled on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. at the offices of BGE, Inc., 10777 Westheimer, 1st Floor, Lubbock Conference Room, Houston, Texas, with supplemental access by Zoom teleconference and/or videoconference.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR IN-PERSON OR VIRTUAL ATTENDANCE. While members of the public may attend the meeting in-person, physical attendance is limited based on building capacity restrictions. Once the capacity limit has been reached through registrations, all other registrants must register and participate via virtual attendance.

Local Meetings

To bridge the gap between the NFBWA and communities, we are happy to be transparent. At any time, you may request a representative from the NFBWA to join your Municipal Utility District, City, or Community Association meetings.

Visiting schools and youth groups to share water education is important to us. We are available to provide presentations, demonstrations, and administer activities. We welcome the invite and can even provide these opportunities via web meetings.
